well this is what i have found so far this year.

jan started ok with my first hammered of the year on my first trip out.

this was a charles 1st penny in at least fine condition.

next few trips brought me back to earth with just a few odds and sods.

feb was an other good month with 4 more hammered to my collection

one elizabeth sixpence 1571 and an eddy 1st penny london mint

i also got a couple of good roman coins with about 10 grots.

one was a denarius of elagabalus 218/222 and it is in great condition so i am very pleased with that.

then last sunday out 29/2/04 i got 2 hammered again elizabeth 1st penny and one cut half of a scottish coin.

this brings my total of hammered to 5 so far this year.

will be at a rallie somewhere in gloucestershire on sunday 7th march not sure where it is as my mate booked it. i got a few roman and one hammered short cross henry the third penny.

july brought a second hand lobo and first trip out got a cut half and a edward the 1st penny.

august second trip out with the lobo and got one more hammered elizabeth the 1st penny.

august  third trip out 4 hammered with the lobo wow this site was dead to the minelab last year but got a edward 1st penny.

next trip out november the 7th day out at tolleshunt major essex.
